Almost all of the campsites in Olden are located in Oldedalen, the Olden Valley. A very popular campsite is Oldevatn Camping, run by young, enthusiastic owners.
Oldevatn Camping offers excellent sanitary facilities and pitches right on the clear blue waters of Lake Oldevatn or on one of the many terraces. Cabins are available for rent at the campsite.

Loken Camping Olden is located a little closer to the center of Olden. Here too, you can camp right on the water. What a view!

Gryta Camping is also located directly on the clear blue waters of Lake Oldevatn. Canoes and rowboats are available for free use at the campsite.

Melkevoll Bretun Camping is located a little further down the valley. The campsite is situated in breathtakingly beautiful scenery near the Briksdal Glacier.

Olden is a small, picturesque village, beautifully situated on the Nordfjord. In Olden, you'll find a supermarket and a few shops. Some of these are only open when a huge cruise ship:

As mentioned, most campsites in Olden are located in Oldedalen, the valley near Olden. The valley's main attraction is the famous Briksdal Glacier. This glacier is a branch of the Jostedal Glacier and can be reached via an easy 3km. hike. Furthermore, the clear blue waters of Lake Oldevatn invite you to swim, canoe, kayak, paddle boat, or fish. Fishing permits are available at most campsites in Olden.
