Campsite with good facilities at a truly wonderful location right by the sea. Great place to go fishing (boats for rent, equipment for rent/sale) or to go hiking. Camping pitches are located on both grass and gravel. Bud Camping has standard cabins, but also luxury beautifully situated bungalows. What a view!
At Bud Camping
Bud Camping has good sanitary facilities, a "living room" with TV, a fish cleaning area, a small playground, a barbecue-/grillarea, boats can be rented and there is a sandy beach close to the campsite. For campers there are paved (gravel) places and there is a camper service place.
Fishing and walking around Bud
Bud Camping is located directly on the sea, so there are excellent fishing possibilities. Many campers who like to go fishing return annually at the campsite. Not surprising, of course, because there are various types of boats for rent, many fishing gear is available at reception, there is a fish cleaning place and there are freezers available to freeze freshly caught fish. Would you rather go for a walk? The owners of Bud Camping have a number of nice hiking routes available, but of course you can also have a nice walk to the fishing village of Bud. Here you will find nice galleries, restaurants and a supermarket.
Location between Molde and Atlantic Road
The beautiful city of Molde is only 40km. away from Bud Camping. Molde is known as "the rose city" and a large jazz festival is also organized every year in July. When visiting Molde, don't forget to see the Varden viewpoint. What a view! Bud Camping is also close to the Atlantic Road ("Atlanterhavsveien"). The Atlantic road is 8.3km. long and lies roughly between Bud and Kristiansund. This spectacular road takes you over various islands and bridges. Tip: the road is sometimes closed when there is bad weather/strong wind. Therefore pay close attention to the weather forecasts or ask for advice at the reception.
