Morvigsanden Camping in Grimstad in the Agder region
Morvigsanden Camping is located in an incredibly beautiful spot in a quiet bay about 6km. southwest of the pleasant town of Grimstad. The town is easily accessible by bicycle or boat. Rowing boats can be used free of charge at the campsite and bicycles and kayaks can be rented. The camping pitches at Morvigsanden Camping are all located around a bay and the location is really beautiful. In addition, various cabins are rented out.
At Morvigsanden Camping
At Morvigsanden Camping you will find a small playground, but the sea and the gently sloping sandy beach are perhaps the largest (water) playground on the campsite. While you camp directly along the water with your caravan, tent or camper, the children will have a great time on the beach or on the water. Would you rather go a little further out onto the water? At Morvigsanden Camping you can use rowing boats for free and kayaks can be rented. Experience the wonderful peace and quiet and the beautiful view from the water.
Visit Grimstad
Grimstad is located on the Sorlandet in Norway. Just like Lillesand, Risor, Arendal and Kragero, Grimstad is a nice idyllic coastal town with various shops, restaurants and terraces. The cozy white houses give you a wonderful holiday feeling. The Maritime Museum in Grimstad is definitely recommended. Tip: visit the Tourist Office to get information about the history of the famous writers Knut Hamsun and Henrik Ibsen.
Central location on the Norwegian Riviera
Because the coast in the Sorlandet generally has the most hours of sunshine in Norway, this area is also called the Norwegian Riviera. And so a place like Grimstad (centrally located between Lillesand (16km.) and Arendal (25km.) is a popular holiday destination, especially in the summer months.
