PlusCamp Strynsvatn Camping in Stryn in the Vestland (Sogn og Fjordane) region
This well cared campsite is situated in a beautiful location at approx. 12km. from the center of Stryn where you will find various shops, restaurants, gas stations and supermarkets. But at PlusCamp Strynsvatn Camping the most necessary products are also available and you can buy fresh bread rolls in the morning. In addition, there is a restaurant on the campsite (small menu) and there is a snack wagon at the campsite in the summer. The sanitary facilities are well maintained and there is even a sun bed and sauna.

The Meland family have been running PlusCamp Strynsvatn Camping in the traditional way for almost 50 years. And you can see that. There is a lot of attention and care for campers who return annually, as well as for the sanitary facilities and the total campsite in general. For example, a cozy barbecue area has been created at the waterfront of Lake Strynsvatn. You can - while enjoying the great view - grill your meat while the kids just jump into the cold water of the Strynsvatn.
At PlusCamp Strynsvatn Camping
In addition to the camping pitches - which are terraced - PlusCamp Strynsvatn Camping has various types of cabins and apartments. There is a nice playground, free WIFI, a beach volleyball court, a pingpong table, you can rent bikes, boats, kayaks, pedalos and canoes. You can even rent a camper at the campsite!
Stryn Summerski area, Loen and Olden
PlusCamp Strynsvatn Camping is approx. 36km. away from the Stryn Summerski Area. If you go to Norway during the summer holidays, you can just go skiing, really great. The beautiful valleys of Loen and Olden are also easily accessible from the campsite. In Loen the biggest attraction is the Skylift Loen, which takes you to a height of 1.011 meters in a few minutes. In Olden a visit to the Briksdal glacier is recommended.
Central location between Stryn, Geiranger and Lom
PlusCamp Strynsvatn Camping is located on the "15" which runs from Lom to Stryn. From the campsite you can make a wonderful day trip: drive from the campsite towards Stryn, then towards Hellesylt and take the ferry through the Geirangerfjord to Geiranger. Unforgettable! In Geiranger you then drive towards the "15" again. Along the way you can visit the beautiful viewpoint Dalsnibba or the - partly unpaved - road along the Stryn Summerski area. At the junction of the "15" you have to drive a few kilometer towards Lom and turn right at the Grotli Hoyfjellshotell. Via the "258" you come back on the "15" in the direction of Stryn. Really a beautiful route !!
