Sande Camping Loen is in a great location right on Lake Lovatnet. A campsite with excellent sanitary facilities and pitches that are scattered around the campsite in a terraced form. A few places are located directly on the water. Both paved and grassy pitches. Renewed sanitary. Good basis for making wonderful walks, canoe trips and visits of various glaciers. Standard hytter, large luxury bungalows and beautiful apartments can be rented at the campsite.

At Sande Camping Loen

A few camping pitches are located directly on the water. Tip: first walk around the campsite in search of a suitable place! The sanitary facilities at the campsite have been completely renewed in recent years. There are 2 beautiful family bathrooms, there is a large new kitchen with 2 dishwashers and a beautiful living space has been realized. Perfect for when the weather … is not so good. Internet at the campsite (WIFI) is free.

Great restaurant, camping shop and reception

If you spend the night at Sande Camping Loen, you don't have to leave the campsite. There is a great restaurant on the campsite and in the campsite shop you can get all the “basic” groceries, including fresh sandwiches! The owners of Sande Camping Loen are super friendly and very proud of their campsite and the beautiful surroundings. They are happy to tell you more about it.

Fishing, canoeing and pedalos

Sande Camping Loen is located directly on the Lovatnet (lake). You can fish in the lake without a fishing license and boats can be rented at the campsite. But also canoes and pedal boats. Nice weather ? Perfect ! Because the campsite also has a nice beach.

Loen Skylift and Via Ferrata

Since a few years you can take the Loen Skylift from the center of Loen up to the top of the mountain Hoven. This sounds not spectacular, but the reality is very different. The Loen Skylift is the steepest cable car in the world and you can reach a height of 1,011 meters in just 5 minutes. The view on top of Hoven is breathtaking. A ride on the cable car is not cheap, around NOK 500 per person. If you're lucky you'll see daredevils with wingsuits diving into the valley. From the restaurant on the mountain you can also walk to the Loen Via Ferrata, crossing a valley over a narrow bridge. Pooh!
