Camp Lyngdal enjoys a stunning location in the Agder region of southwestern Norway. The campsite is situated directly on a beautiful sandy beach, offering stunning views of the fjord and the surrounding mountains. The campsite is also within walking distance of Lyngdal\'s lively town center, where you\'ll find various shops and restaurants. If the weather isn\'t great, the Sorlandsbadet (indoor and outdoor pool) is highly recommended. The nearby Lucky Strike Bowling Center is also a good option.
At Camp Lyngdal
The campsite\'s location directly on the fjord is, of course, its biggest attraction. Camp Lyngdal also features a large playground with trampolines and a ball pit, a beach volleyball court, a multi-purpose sports field, a snack bar, a camping shop where you can pick up fresh bread in the morning and you can rent boats, canoes and kayaks. The camping pitches are spread throughout the campsite. There are both paved and grassy pitches and you can even pitch your tent right on the beach. Or hang your hammock between the trees! In addition to the camping pitches, Camp Lyngdal also rents cabins and beautifully furnished apartments.

The charming center of the picturesque village of Lyngdal is about 1.5 km from Camp Lyngdal. There, you\'ll find various shops, cafes and restaurants. If you\'re looking for something more active, you can indulge in Sorlandsbadet, an outdoor and indoor pool with waterslides, a wave pool and a spa area. The area surrounding Lyngdal is also perfect for beautiful hikes. For example, to the top of Mount Skrelia. Or to Hausvikodden Fort, a historic fortress from World War II.
Central location between Kristiansand and Stavanger
If you\'re traveling along the southwest coast of Norway, Camp Lyngdal is a great place to stay. The campsite is an hour\'s drive from Kristiansand and just over two hours from Stavanger. Camp Lyngdal is also ideally located for exploring the beautiful coast of southern Norway. The famous Lindesnes Lighthouse is just a half-hour drive from the campsite. Definitely worth a visit!
