Skibotn Camping is situated in a stunningly beautiful location directly on the fjord. A large number of pitches and cabins are located directly by the water. And from your pitch you have a breathtakingly beautiful view of the Lyngen Alps. A number of cabins have recently been renovated. Skibotn Camping features good sanitary facilities. Due to its location directly along the E6 in the village of Skibotn, the campsite is very popular with campers on their way to the North Cape. Skibotn Camping is within walking distance of the center of Skibotn, where you will find a small supermarket and a gasstation.

Beautiful location on the Lyngenfjord in Skibotn

The location of Skibotn Camping is truly phenomenal. According to many campers, Skibotn Camping has the most beautiful location of all the campsites in Skibotn. That is hardly surprising, of course. Most of the camping pitches and cabins are situated directly on the water and the view on the Lyngen Alps is stunning. In the immediate vicinity of Skibotn Camping, you can take beautiful hikes, such as on the Lulledalen forest path, or near the mountains Vardovarri, Svarteberget and Sledo.

At Skibotn Camping

The camping pitches at Skibotn Camping are situated partly on gravel and partly on grass. Most of the pitches are located directly on the fjord. The cabins on the campsite are also all situated on the fjord. A number of them have recently been renovated. Furthermore, at Skibotn Camping you will find good sanitary facilities (including a spacious kitchen that campers can use), a small playground, a sauna, and boats are for rent. Opposite the campsite, there is a Tesla charging station.

Campsite along the North Cape Route

Skibotn Camping is located next to the E6 on the edge of the village of Skibotn. Skibotn is known as “a dry place” and is a popular destination partly for that reason. Skibotn is located about 50km. from the Finnish/Swedish border and just over 100km. from Tromso. To the North Cape it’s about 500km. Due to its location along the North Cape Route, the campsite is very popular with campers on their way to the North Cape. And many stop by again on their way back. That says it all!
