Skaland Camping in Skaland in the Troms region
Skaland Camping is a fairly new campsite on the edge of the village of Skaland on Senja. In Skaland, you will find a supermarket, a pub, a restaurant and a hotel where you can rent kayaks, among other things. Skaland Camping is very suitable for a longer stay, certainly because of the beautiful surroundings. But also because, for example, the use of the washing machine and dryer is included in the price.

The pitches at Skaland Camping are located on various terraces, ensuring you always have a beautiful view. The pitches are situated on gravel. Grass pitches are available for tent campers, including some directly by the water. In addition to the pitches, there is also a beautiful glamping tent for rent. Located on a deck. By kayak to Faeroya
In the immediate vicinity of Skaland Camping, you will find various beautiful beaches, but the beaches on the island of Faeroya (off the coast near Skaland) are truly indescribably beautiful. The “white beaches” and the clear blue water give you the feeling that you are on a Bounty island. The temperature will probably be a bit different, though. By the way, you can rent kayaks at the hotel in Skaland.
Senja, Norway in miniature
Skaland Camping is located in the northwest of the Senja region, also known as “Norway in miniature.” On Senja you will find high mountains, beautiful fjords and white sandy beaches. Senja is a true paradise for hikers and anglers. Skaland Camping is located near Bergsbotn, where you have a beautiful viewpoint overlooking the coast and the many small islands of Senja.
Location between Andenes (Vesteralen) and Tromso
More and more campers are choosing the beautiful crossing from Andenes to Tromso. From Andenes, the other side – Gryllefjord (on Senja) – can be reached in 1 hour and 45 minutes. And from there it is just under an hours drive to Skaland Camping. From Botnhamn (50-minute drive) you can take the ferry to Brensholmen. And from there, you reach the beautiful city of Tromso via a scenic route (approx. 1-hour drive).
