Arctic Fjordcamp Burfjord

Very well maintained campsite about 800 meters from the E6. Peacefully quiet. Great view of the fjord and the snowy peaks. Family atmosphere. Good sanitary facilities.

Arctic Fjordcamp in Burfjord in the Troms region

Arctic Fjordcamp was taken over a few years ago by an enthusiastic couple and it shows on the campsite. The campsite has a good structure: tents and small camper vans at the front of the campsite. Campers and caravans slightly back on a higher terrace ,so everyone can enjoy the great view. The sanitary facilities have been updated, the free WIFI works fine and the owners are very friendly and helpful.

At Arctic Fjordcamp Burfjord

In addition to the camping pitches, Arctic Fjordcamp Burfjord has a number of nice accommodations, including various cabins and a large holiday home, the rooms of which can also be rented separately. There is a grillhouse, free WIFI, a small playground and sweets, drinks, ice cream and coffee are available in the reception.

Location Arctic Fjordcamp

Arctic Fjordcamp is located just north of the town of Burfjord, where you will find a gas station and a supermarket. The campsite is about 800 meters from the E6 and when you drive up the path to the campsite, you don't know what to expect. Well, I do. It really is a beautiful place and the views of the fjord and the snowy surrounding peaks are breathtakingly beautiful.

Beautiful environment

The surroundings of Arctic Fjordcamp Burfjord are very beautiful. The glacier Jokelfjordbreen (other side of the glacier is called Oksfjordjokelen) is well worth a visit. The glacier is just a 15 minute drive from the campsite. In addition, you can take beautiful bike rides and walks, for example on the Kvaenangsfjellet and the Laslettind.

Alta and the North Cape

A large number of campers visit Arctic Fjordcamp not only on the way to the North Cape, but also when they drive south again. The distance to Alta is 80km. The total distance to the North Cape is 315km. So to do well.
