Fjordbotn Camping

Beautifully situated family campsite right on the Stonesbotn fjord in the Senja region, just over an hour's drive (and sailing) from Tromso. Wonderful environment. New sanitary.

Fjordbotn Camping near Botnhamn in the Troms region

Anyone who has ever visited Fjordbotn Camping in the past will certainly not recognize it again. New camping pitches have been realized, the reception has been completely redesigned, new accommodations (pods and hytter) have been installed and there are new sanitary facilities. In addition, free WIFI is available. There is a nice grill room and there are excellent fishing possibilities. Boats and SUP-boards can be rented at the campsite. And since the summer of 2023 there is a "summer restaurant" (simple menu) on the campsite.

Personal attention

The Eriksen family has been running Fjordbotn Camping since 1992. The campsite has passed from father to son (s) and personal attention to the camper and their camping is of great importance to the owners. And that can be seen on the campsite!

At Fjordbotn Camping

Directly on the Stonesbotn fjord are some "gravel-grass" places with a great view. The campsite is terraced in order to offer the camper a beautiful view everywhere. In addition to the camping pitches, there are cabins and pods for rent. These pods (see photos above) are a small cozy accommodation option and very popular. There is a separate section for tents.

Senja region

Fjordbotn Camping is located in the northern part of the Senja region, also known as "Norway in miniature". Here you will find high mountains, beautiful fjords and wonderful white sandy beaches. It is a beautiful (quiet) area for walking and fishing. The campsite is close to the beautiful Senja National Tourist Route. Really very worth it!

Location between Andenes (Vesteralen) and Tromso

More and more tourists are opting for the beautiful crossing from Andenes to Tromso. From Andenes the other side - Gryllefjord - can be reached in 1.45 hours and from there it is approximately 1.5 hours to Fjordbotn Camping in Botnhamn. From the port of Botnhamn (approx. 12 km.) you make the beautiful crossing to Brensholmen and then it is another hour's drive - via a beautiful route !! - to Tromso.
