Villmarkseventyret Camping is situated in a quiet location, surrounded by the beautiful nature of the Telemark region. The campsite is located between Drangedal (16.5km.) and Lunde (18km.) and only 12km. away from the Telemark Canal. Villmarkseventyret Camping is situated on the Saetreelva river, but is also surrounded by several lakes and rivers where you can swim, fish and kayak. The pitches at this self-service campsite are spread out on various terraces and the campsite offers a "always-spot-guarantee."
At Villmarkseventyret Camping
The camping pitches at Villmarkseventyret Camping are spread across four terraces. The main section of the campsite is located near the sanitary building and a 24-hour kiosk (vending machines with for example coffee and snacks). Whether you are bringing a tent, caravan, or campercar, you can always choose your own spot. And if you bring a hammock, you can choose two trees yourself. Several large cabins are also available for rent at the campsite (with free use of a canoe and/or boat), and a glamping tent is available for rent near the sanitary building. Please note: there is no electricity available at the camping pitches!
Hiking, mountain biking, and kayaking
Because of its location in the heart of nature, Villmarkseventyret Camping is THE perfect campsite for hikers, kayakers, nature lovers, and those seeking peace and quiet. But mountain bikers will also find plenty to enjoy here. Several MTB trails are located on and around the campsite, leading you through vast forests, past various lakes, and past abandoned farmhouses.
Telemark Canal and Bo Sommarland Family Park
The Telemark Canal is just 12km. from Villmarkseventyret Camping. Here, you\\\'re likely to see the historic canal boats Victoria and Henrik Ibsen sailing by. The Telemark Canal has no fewer than 18 locks. The most spectacular section is located at Vrangfoss, a short half-hour drive from the campsite. If you\\\'re camping with children, Bo Sommarland Family Park is highly recommended. This is the largest water park of Scandinavia and is a 40-minute drive from Villmarkseventyret Camping.
