First Camp Bo - Telemark is centrally located in a beautiful area in Telemark county. The campsite is located at the foot of Lifjell. It is also a nice drive to the Telemark Canal and the Gaustatoppen. If you are camping with children, you do not have to travel far to find many experiences for the children. Bo Sommarland, one of the largest water and amusement parks in Europe, is situated only 500 meters from the campsite. Hoyt & Lavt climbing park is located on the forest border of the camping area.

The pitches at First Camp Bo - Telemark are well spread around the campsite. There is also a nice area for tents, as well as a large number of accommodation options such as beautiful cabins in traditional Telemark style and cozy pods / Hobbithouses. In addition, the campsite has many facilities, including an outdoor swimming pool, a large playground with bouncy cushion, a mini golf course in a very natural setting, bicycles for rent, a great barbecue house, a shop, a bistro, a beach volleyball court and new sanitary facilities, including special sanitary facilities for children. In the summer, there is a kids club with activities for children, as well as a training program for adults and entertainment evenings with music, dance and quizzes for the whole family.

Hoyt & Lavt Klatrepark and Bo Sommarland

First Camp Bo - Telemark is a perfect place to spend the night for families with children. Of course, the campsite has many facilities in itself, but in addition to this, Hoyt & Lowt Klatrepark is located right at the forest border to the campsite and also Bo Sommarland is within walking distance. Bo Sommarland is Scandinavia\\'s largest water park, one day here is almost too little to see and experience the park. Fun water activities guaranteed!

Telemark Canal, Lifjell, Gaustatoppen and Hardangervidda

The Telemark region has a large number of attractions. Lifjell, which is located right next to the campsite, covers a hiking area of 200km2. The terrain is characterized by high mountains, with high peaks of over 1.300 m, valleys, lakes and large open spaces. In winter, you can ski for miles on groomed slopes, but also challenge your alpine skills in Lifjell Ski Center with 5 descents and 2 lifts. Inland you will find the Hardangervidda, the largest mountain plateau in Europe and a great area for hiking. There you will also find Gaustatoppen with its height of 1.883 metres and many say this is one of the most beautiful mountains in Norway. You can take the cable car to the top and from the top you get a great view. The Telemark canal, the canal with no less than 18 locks that have to cope with the height difference of 72 metres, is located near First Camp Bo - Telemark.

The small town of Bo in Telemark is centrally located in the Telemark region and an ideal starting point for exploring the beautiful surroundings. Bo is accessible by public transport (Farte.no). If you arrive in Larvik or Langesund by ferry, it takes approx. 80km. to drive to First Camp Bo -Telemark. Oslo is 140km. away, and Kristiansand 215km. away. You can also take the train to Bo with Sorlandsbanen, then you can order a minibus through Farte.no or a taxi to First Camp Bo - Telemark.
