Arctic Circle Camping is a well-maintained campsite in beautiful surroundings. Right along a river. Close to the E6. Ideal if you are on your way to the Lofoten, Vesteralen, Senja or the North Cape. The campsite is located at the foot of the Saltfjellet and close to the Arctic Circle and the Saltfjellet-Svartisen National Park. A beautiful area for taking scenic hikes and kayaking trips. A (guided) visit to the Setergrotta is also popular.

Hiking in Saltfjellet-Svartisen National Park
You can go on beautiful hikes in the immediate vicinity of Arctic Circle Camping, but Saltfjellet-Svartisen National Park is undoubtedly the highlight. Literally and figuratively, as it is one of the largest mountain ranges in Norway, with snow in many places that does not disappear even in the summer. Not surprising, as the peaks reach around 1.700 meters. The Svartisen Glacier is also located in this area; after the Jostedalsbreen, it is the largest glacier in Norway.
Location on the North Cape Route between Trondheim and Narvik
Arctic Circle Camping is a regular stop for many campers on their way to the Lofoten Islands, Vesteralen, or the North Cape. Not surprising given its central location. Arctic Circle Camping is located 532km. from Trondheim and 363km. from Narvik.
