Torghatten Camping has a great location: at the foot of the Torghatten mountain and directly on the sea. At Torghatten Camping

The campsite uses an all-inclusive formula: you pay no additional costs for the use of, for example, WIFI, showers, washing machine or dryer. It is, however, possible to book an overnight stay excluding electricity. The price-quality ratio is excellent. In addition to the camping pitches, cabins and apartments are rented out at the campsite. And recently there are also nice Glamping tents for rent which are located directly on the beach. You can fish and water sports are also possible.

Selfie cruise

Owner Per Kare from Torghatten Camping organizes selfie cruises. He has special arrangements with the Hurtigruten which regularly sails past the campsite through the Torgfjord. You sail with a ship towards the Hurtigruten. This slows down to give you the opportunity to take a selfie and you are greeted with the ship's horn. An unforgettable experience!

Beach restaurant

According to experts, the Torghatten Beachrestaurant is one of the best restaurants in Norway. The preparation mainly uses local products such as white fish from the Torgfjord and other locally caught fish from the Helgeland region. You will be offered a delicious 6-course menu and therefore it is advisable to make a reservation. In the summer it is also possible to have lunch. Recommended!

Location within walking distance of Torghatten mountain

Torghatten Camping is within walking distance of the Torghatten, the mountain “with the hole”. From a great distance it looks like the mountain has a bullet hole, in reality it is a natural tunnel 35 meters high, 20 meters wide and a total of 160 meters long. The story goes that the Hestman troll shot an arrow at a girl after he realized he couldn't get her. The troll king of Somna saved her by throwing his hat in the path of the arrow. The hat turned into a mountain and that's how Torghatten - "the mountain with the hole" came into existence….
