Sandvika Fjord & Sjohus Camping in Kabelvag in Lofoten
A truly beautifully situated campsite near the lovely coastal town of Kabelvag. The campsite is surrounded by water, so you can camp directly at the water in several places at Sandvika Camping. There is a special "grass" area for campers with tents. In addition, the campsite has various types of cabins and apartments. The view of the (mostly) snowy mountain peaks in the area is very impressive.
At Sandvika Fjord & Sjohus Camping
At Sandvika Camping you will find both gravel camping pitches and camping pitches on grass. The choice of holiday homes is also wide. High season reservations are highly recommended. The campsite has renovated sanitary facilities with large family bathrooms, there is a large beach (at low tide …), there is free WIFI, there is a small camping shop, a playground and there are various facilities for anglers (fish cleaning area, boat ramp to launch your own boat and there are several boats for hire).
Visit Kabelvag, Svolvaer, Henningsvaer, Ballstad and Nusfjord
The beautiful Lofoten islandgroup is a very popular destination. It can therefore be very busy in high season. If possible, we recommend that you visit Lofoten in the early or late season. Then you have all the space on the beautiful "bounty" beaches of for example Grimsoy, Rorvik, Ramberg, Undstad and Utakleiv and finding a cozy terrace in the small coastal towns of Kabelvag, Nusfjord, Henningsvaer, Ballstad and Svolvaer (capital of the Lofoten) is not a problem at all.
Central Location in Lofoten, near the port of Svolvaer
Many campers at Sandvika Camping use the campsite as a base to discover this beautiful island group. Mostly they arrive by ferry from Skutvik in Svolvaer. The port of Svolvaer is only 8km. away. In just 2 hours you reach the southernmost point of Lofoten and to the north, the Vesteralen island group is also within easy reach. Sandvika Camping is therefore an excellent location for a longer stay.
