Bjerkvik Camping is opened in july 2025 and is already very popular. This is naturally due to the location and the view, but also to the good sanitary facilities. The campsite is still partially under construction, but a large part of the pitches are already finished. Moreover, they are spaciously laid out. Bjerkvik Camping is located at the “junction” of the E6 (towards Senja, Tromso and the North Cape) and the E10 (towards Lofoten and Vesterålen).

The pitches for motorhomes and caravans at Bjerkvik Camping are paved and from every spot you have a magnificent view of the fjord, the city of Narvik and the snow-capped mountain peaks in the surrounding area. A special section is being developed for tents, but this is not yet completed. The campsite features good sanitary facilities, a kitchen, a laundry room with a washing machine and dryer, a motorhome service area and a facility for emptying toilet cassettes.

Visit Narvik

Bjerkvik Camping is well located for visiting the city of Narvik. It is also accessible by public transport, as the bus stop is located 300 meters from the campsite. In Narvik, you will find various shops, restaurants, bars and supermarkets. The city is best known for a major battle that took place here during World War II. If you are interested, we recommend visiting the War Museum in Narvik. Additionally, Narvik is well known as a winter sports resort. The winter sports area (Narvikfjellet) is spectacular. From a great height, you can ski towards the city in both winter and summer. Stunning views guaranteed.

Since the opening of Bjerkvik Camping in july 2025, the campsite has not only been visited by campers who want to enjoy the view, but the campsite is also very popular with campers who want to visit the beautiful Lofoten and Vesteralen island group. Or when they are on their way to Senja, Tromso or the North Cape. Bjerkvik Camping is located close to the intersection of the E6 (Oslo/Trondheim – North Cape) and the E10 (towards Lofoten and Vesteralen).
