PlusCamp Ballangen Camping

PlusCamp Ballangen Camping is a very well-kept family campsite with excellent sanitary facilities (new summer 2019). There are beautiful family bathrooms available and the kitchen that the campers can use is of very high quality. The camping pitches at PlusCamp Ballangen Camping are partly situated on grass and partly on gravel. The campsite also has a wide selection of holiday homes, bungalows and cabins.

At PlusCamp Ballangen Camping

As a guest of PlusCamp Ballangen Camping you have access to a large number of facilities. There is a heated swimming pool with slide, a restaurant, mini golf, a sauna, various sports and games facilities, a playground, a trampoline, a jumping pillow and furthermore canoes, (water) bicycles, go-karts, SUP's and boats are available for rent. Ideal if you want to go fishing on the fjord. The campsite also has a nice barbecue area or grill place directly on the fjord and a small beach. Various water sports are possible on the fjord.

Campsite near Narvik

PlusCamp Ballangen Camping has a great location, directly along the E6 and near the center of Ballangen where you will find a supermarket.. Narvik is also not far, within half an hour you are in the center of this modern town. Narvik is known for the 1st major battle that took place in the 2nd World War. You can find information about this in the War Museum of Narvik. Narvik is also known as a winter sports destination. From the Narvikfjellet you can ski - both in winter and in summer - from a height of 1.500 meters towards the city. And in the meantime enjoy a great view. Top!

Lofoten, Vesteralen and North Cape

Just north of Narvik at Bjerkvik you will find the junction of the E6 and the E10, which runs towards the beautiful island group Lofoten and Vesteralen. Via the E6 you can go further north towards Tromso and of course the North Cape. And so many campers stay on both the outward and return journeys at PlusCamp Ballangen Camping.

Location on the E6 and the North Cape route

The campsite is located directly along the E6 just south of Narvik. From Trondheim it is 860km. via the E6. drive to PlusCamp Ballangen Camping. At Steinkjer you can of course also take the beautiful coastal route - the Kystriksveien - towards Bodo and then the E6 towards Narvik. To the North Cape it is 740km. from PlusCamp Ballangen Camping.
