This spaciously designed campsite is located on the outskirts of the town of Steinkjer. The center is within walking distance. The campsite is close to the Steinkjer river and the river Ogna. Great fishing possibilities. If the weather is worse: in Steinkjer there is not only an indoor swimming pool, but also a large indoor shopping mall. The surroundings of Guldbergaunet Camping is great for taking walks and cycling trips.

The campsite has spacious grass pitches, a number of cabins, apartments and very nicely furnished hotel rooms. The campsite is open all year round, so also a great place to spend the night in winter. Free WIFI is available at the campsite. There is a small playground and bicycles can be rented.
Kystriksveien, RV17
The RV17 or the Kystriksveien starts close to Steinkjer. This coastal route of 650km. is also called 1 of the most beautiful coastal routes along the Atlantic Coast. The route runs from Steinkjer to Bodo via many islands and in total you have to travel 6 times by ferry. It is therefore advisable to request an "Autopass for ferry" in advance. With this pass you have a discount of no less than 50% on most crossings! At the Turistkontor in Steinkjer you can obtain additional information (such as an information booklet with campsites and the ferry timetables).

Guldbergaunet Camping is located near the E6 on the outskirts of the town of Steinkjer. A great place to stay if you are on your way to the Lofoten or the North Cape. Or back to Trondheim. From Steinkjer, Trondheim is just under 2 hours away. Also handy: a number of supermarkets are within walking distance of the campsite.
