Furuodden Camping in Biristrand in the Innlandet region (Oppland)

Furuodden Camping is located directly on the beautiful Lake Mjosa, the largest lake in Norway. A number of camping pitches and cabins are located directly on the water. At Furuodden Camping

Furuodden Camping has a considerable number of seasonal pitches, but the campsite also has approximately 25 drop-in pitches. Both on gravel and on grass. And some are located directly on the water. For example, in Lillehammer you will find the Lysgardsbakken, the ski jump that was used during the Olympic Games. But Hafjell, a family-friendly ski area just outside Lillehammer, is also recommended.

Lillehammer

The city of Lillehammer is of course known for the 1994 Winter Olympics, but even before then Lillehammer was a popular holiday destination in both summer and winter. This of course also has to do with the wide range of museums and cultural centers such as the Lillehammer Art Museum, the Norwegian Olympic Museum and Maihaugen, one of the largest open-air museums in Norway.
