Aurdal Fjordcamping og Hytter is approximately 2.5km. away from the E16 on the edge of the village of Aurdal. The campsite is located directly on the Aurdalsfjord where fishing is free. But there are also excellent fishing opportunities in the area. Various types of boats can be rented at the campsite. Aurdal Fjordcamping og Hytter has many seasonal pitches, but the most beautiful places (both grass and paved) on the water are for tourists. The cabins are also beautifully situated

At Aurdal Fjordcamping og Hytter

The campsite has an almost 1km. long "coast"line on the Aurdalsfjord. There is a small beach and in the summer there is a large trampoline in the water. Aurdal Fjordcamping og Hytter also has a nice playground with interactive games, a bar, snack bar, free WIFI, a barbecue / grill area, a pleasant quay / terrace by the harbor, a mini golf course, a zip line and various festive evenings and activities are organized in the summer. Every Saturday and Sunday afternoon (in high season) you can go on a boat trip and you can rent go-karts for the kids.

Valdres

Valdres is a district in the Innlandet (Oppland) region with Fagernes as its capital. A beautiful area between the Gudbrandsdal and the Hallingdal and close to the Jotunheimen National Park. A paradise for hikers and nature lovers. Tip: inquire at the Tourist Office in Fagernes about the possibilities in the area. Close to Aurdal Fjordcamping og Hytter (approx. 2km.) you will find the Valdres Golf Course and the Valdres Folkemuseum in Fagernes is more than worth a visit.

Aurdal and Fagernes

Aurdal is a small village with around 700 inhabitants. You will find a supermarket there. Aurdal is located directly along the E16, just south of the town of Fagernes where you will find various shops (including 2 large covered shopping centers), restaurants and gas stations and where - especially in the summer - many activities are organized. Valdres Alpinsenter is in a short distance from Aurdal Fjordcamping og Hytter, where you can enjoy skiing and cross-country skiing (even with illuminated trails).

Nice stop on the route from Oslo to Bergen

Aurdal Fjordcamping og Hytter is located close to the E16, about a 2.5-hour drive from Oslo. If you follow the E16 you can see the beautiful stave church in Borgund, take a walk through the old (wooden) center of Laerdal, marvel at the large cruise ships in Flam and take a ride with the Flamsbana, go shopping in Voss and then the visit the beautiful city of Bergen.
