Tynset Rom og Camping is a beautifully situated site on the Glomma River, a well-kept campsite with many accommodations, including nicely furnished rooms and beautiful cabins. The camping pitches on the campsite are partly on gravel and partly on grass. There is always a nice place to find. The campsite is within walking distance of the center of Tynset with various shops and supermarkets, one is directly opposite the campsite. Are you looking for a little more convenience? Location between Alvdal and Roros
If you are traveling on the "3" from Hamar to Trondheim and you want to visit the old mining town of Roros, you could camp with your caravan or tent at Tynset Rom og Camping and then take a day trip to Roros. The campsite is only a few km. distance from the junction of the "3" and the "26" towards Roros. You can also do this by public transport, because in Tynset there is a train station on the Hamar - Trondheim route (with stops in Tynset and Roros).
