Femundtunet Camping in Drevsjo in the Innlandet (Hedmark) region
Beautifully situated campsite directly on Lake Femund near the village of Drevsjo. Surrounded by nature and that is noticeable because reindeer regularly run on the campsite. Ideal campsite for nature lovers. There are vast forests in the immediate surroundings and because Drevsjo is close to the Swedish border, you can also just take a walk in Sweden. Lake Femund is ideal for canoeing or kayaking, but you can also go fishing and swimming. You will also find a restaurant on the campsite (in a former post station) and various cabins and rooms for rent.
Femunden (Femundmeer)
Lake Femunden is with an area of 203km2. and a length of 60 kilometers 1 of the largest lakes in Norway. This beautiful lake is home to countless islands and is surrounded on all sides by beautiful forests and 2 National Parks: both the Femundsmarka and the Gutulia - which is also located in part in Sweden - are very popular among hikers and nature lovers. Many canoeists and kayakers are active on the lake, but on Femunden you will also find the old (ferry)boat the M / S Fæmund from 1904.
