Nice campsite located on the North Cape route. Nordkapp Camping is a short half-hour drive from the North Cape and is fully geared to a visit to the North Cape. Great sanitary.
Nordkapp Camping in Honningsvag in the Finnmark region:
Nordkapp Camping is just half an hour's drive from the North Cape. This campsite is fully geared for a visit to the North Cape and therefore most places are paved. There are grass pitches available for tent campers. Various types of holiday homes are rented out on the campsite. The sanitary facilities are fine and do you want to relax after a long journey ? There is a sauna on the campsite !
At Nordkapp Camping:
In addition to the camping pitches and the hytter, rooms and bungalows, Nordkapp Camping has good sanitary facilities, but you can also use a sauna. There is a restaurant at the campsite (only open in June, July and August) and you want to prepare for a visit to the North Cape? No point, free WIFI is available at the campsite. Nice walks. Tip 1: book a King Crab safari (info at the reception). Tip 2: cycling enthusiast? You can also visit the North Cape by bicycle. It doesn't get dark in the summer anyway!
Nordkapp Camping is approximately 8km. away from Honningsvag, the capital of the island of Mageroya where the North Cape is located. Honningsvag is beautifully situated in a bay and has various shops including a supermarket. The biggest attraction is the many cruise ships (including the Hurtigruten) that are located here in the harbor. Because most visitors to the North Cape arrive by cruise ship).
