Tingsaker Familiecamping in Lillesand in the Aust-Agder region

Very beautifully situated campsite directly on the fjord with excellent sanitary facilities. There is also a camping shop and snack bar at the reception. Handy if you don't feel like cooking dinner during the holidays. And otherwise you can always walk or bike to the town of Lillesand, because the center is close to the campsite. The most beautiful pitches are located directly on the fjord, but these places are - of course - very popular. The advice is therefore to arrive early at the campsite, or to visit Tingsaker Familliecamping outside the high season (July).

At Tingsaker Familiecamping

In addition to the camping pitches, Tingsaker Familiecamping has various types of cabins, many of which overlook the water. In addition, the campsite has a playground with trampoline, a recreation room with TV and there is free WIFI. The area is perfect for taking walks and cycling trips. If you are camping with children, a visit to Dyreparken Kristiansand is an absolute must. This is not only the largest zoo in Norway, but also an amusement park with various swimming pools and playgrounds.

Lillesand

The cozy coastal town of Lillesand is within walking distance of the campsite and is certainly worth a visit. The town has various shops, restaurants, cafes and supermarkets and is also located directly on the Tingsakerfjord. Sights: the lighthouse of Saltholmen, the city and nautical museum of Lillesand and in addition, Lillesand has a very beautiful church.

Swimming, water sports and fishing

Tingsaker Familiecamping is located directly on the Tingsakerfjord and in the immediate vicinity of the campsite are several beaches where you can sunbathe. There are also SUPs (Standing up Paddling), kayaks and rowing boats for rent. So fine to go on the water. If you are a fishing enthusiast, you can also rent motor boats at the campsite to find a good fishing spot.

Nice location between Kristiansand and Grimstad

The coast of Aust Agder (the Sorlandet) is - because of the largest number of sunshine hours in Norway - also called the Norwegian Riviera. And Tingsaker Familiecamping is in the middle of this nice area! Nice central between Grimstad (20km.) and Kristiansand (30km.) So also a great place to stay if you arrive by ferry in Kristiansand or want to stay a few days at Tingsaker Familiecamping in the last days of your camping holiday in Norway.
