Camp Uvdal

This nice family campsite with camping pitches and hytter directly on the river Uvdalselva. Restaurant with a small menu on the campsite. Various games and sports facilities.

Camp Uvdal in Uvdal in the Viken region (Buskerud)

Camp Uvdal is located just south of the small village Uvdal. Directly along the Uvdalselva river. The campsite is centrally located between Kongsberg and Geilo and the area is ideal for taking beautiful hikes. In the evening, when you return to the campsite, you can order a delicious pizza or salad. So you can enjoy the evening without cooking food. A large number of the camping pitches and cabins are located directly on the water and the view is very beautiful. On the other side of the river (accessible via a footbridge) is a large activity park.

At Camp Uvdal

Camp Uvdal has camping pitches and various types of cabins that are very beautifully furnished. At Camp Uvdal you will also find a playground, mini golf, a restaurant with a small menu, free WIFI, canoes for rent and well-maintained sanitary facilities. At the activity park (small fee) you will find Frisbee golf, football golf, a mountain bike course, a climbing park, a volleyball and badminton field and you can sail/drive radio-controlled boats and cars.

Winter sports

At about 15km. distance from Camp Uvdal you will find the Uvdal alpine ski center. But the winter sports area of Geilo (one of the most popular in Norway) is also just an hour's drive from the campsite. With no fewer than 40 ski slopes and 20 lifts, Geilo is one of the largest winter sports areas in Norway.

Hardangervidda

Camp Uvdal is located on the edge of the Hardangervidda, the largest plateau in Europe with an area of no less than 8.000 km2. The Hardangervidda is a popular hiking area, but you can also take beautiful walks in the immediate vicinity of the campsite.

Central location between Kongsberg and Geilo

If you are on your way from the Telemark region to Geilo or the fjord area, Camp Uvdal is a good location for a short or longer stay. The campsite is therefore a popular overnight stay for many campers.
