Odin Camping is developing rapidly in recent years. For example, beautiful luxury mobile homes have been placed next to the cabins. Right on the beach! The campsite has been expanded with large camping pitches and since 2019 Odin Camping has a beautiful center building. It houses the reception, snack bar and camping shop, as well as the new sanitary building, which will soon be in use.
At Odin Camping in Royse
The camping pitches at Odin Camping Royse are widely spread across the campsite. The pitches are very spacious and some are located directly on the Tyrifjord. Most cabins and very beautiful mobile homes are also right on the water. What a view! Odin Camping also has a playground, free WIFI and rowing boats are rented out. Ideal for sailing on the fjord to catch a fish for the barbecue.
Sandy beach and water fun at the Tyrifjord
The fine sandy beach at Odin Camping slopes gently, making it ideal for families with small children. Water sports enthusiasts can also indulge themselves here, because the large Tyrifjord offers plenty of water sports options.
Visit Hadeland Glassverk Jevnaker, Honefoss and Oslo
Odin Camping is a 15-minute drive from the small town of Honefoss where you will find various shops and supermarkets. A large shopping center is just over a 10-minute drive from the campsite. The beautiful city of Oslo (“the green capital of Europe in 2019) is an small hour's drive away. Tip: take a look at Hadeland Glassverk in Jevnaker (25 minutes drive). Here you will find a glass museum, various shops and you can see how glass is blown.
Location near Honefoss and Oslo, not far from the E16
Many campers who arrive in Oslo by ferry look for a campsite a short distance from the city. Odin Camping is about a 50 minute drive from the port of Oslo and is also close to the E16 which runs from Oslo via Fagernes, Flam and Voss towards Bergen. An ideal place to stay overnight!
