Kviltorp Camping in Molde in the More og Romsdal region

Kviltorp Camping is close to the nice town of Molde and is located directly on the fjord. The campsite is close to Molde airport, but you will not be bothered by those few planes. The campsite has been considerably renovated in recent years and everything looks very well cared for. Paved pitches (with a bit of grass in front) for caravans and motorhomes and in front of that - directly on the sea with the best view - the tent pitches are situated. There are also a number of tent places at the playground. Since 2021, Kviltorp Camping has an additional camping area which is 1km. is closer to the center.

At Kviltorp Camping

Various accommodations can be rented at Kviltorp Camping. From simple cabins to beautiful large seahouses right on the fjord. In addition, there are a number of apartments for rent. The sanitary is very well cared for. There are spacious family bathrooms and there is special children's sanitary. Atlanterhavsveien, Trollstigen, Alesund, Mardalsfossen

Kviltorp Camping is because of its location near Molde and centrally located between the Atlanterhavsveien, Trollstigen and Alesund a very popular campsite. The Atlanterhavsveien are approximately 45 minutes away, Alesund (via ferry) is approximately an hour away + ferry. The Trollstigen are also about an hour away and can even be combined as a day trip with a visit to the Geirangerfjord. And what about the Mardalsfossen, the highest waterfall in Northern Europe! Also close to the campsite.

Molde

The town of Molde is at 3km. distance from Kviltorp Camping. Molde is known as the "Rose City" and because of the Jazz Festival which is held annually in mid-July. The town is home to quite a few shops and restaurants. Tip: from the Varden viewpoint you have a spectacular view of the city, the fjord and the surrounding mountains.
