Geilo Hytter og Camping is about 1.9km. away from the center of Geilo. There are several restaurants, shops and supermarkets within walking distance of the campsite. The campsite is open all year round and that's a good thing, because Geilo is one of Norway's most famous winter sports resorts, so the campsite is also very popular in winter. Geilo Hyter og Camping was completely renovated in 2018 and a new sanitary building was completed. The camping pitches are partly situated on grass, partly on asphalt. The campsite has 13 cabins, 9 of which have their own sanitary facilities. Geilo Hytter og Camping is the ideal campsite if you like hiking, because Geilo is located at the foot of 2 National Parks: Hallingskarvet & Hardangervidda.
