Olderfjord Turistsenter is situated in a wonderful location right by the sea. The campsite has various camping pitches, hytter and rooms. But there is also a nice souvenir shop and a great restaurant, where you can also have a nice breakfast in the morning. There is a small playground at the campsite and there is a recreation room.
Fishing, hiking, winter sports
Olderfjord Turistsenter is located directly on the sea and is therefore also a great location for fishing. And if you caught a fish, you can use the grill house. Or of course prepare it yourself on the barbecue. If you have not caught any fish, the fine restaurant on the campsite may be a good alternative. Olderfjord Turistsenter is situated in a beautiful area. You can take wonderful walks close to the campsite. The campsite is also open in winter and there are various cross-country trails around the campsite. A ski slope is on a 25km. distance.
At Olderfjord Turistsenter
The campsite is separated by a road at the junction of the E6 and the E69. Basic cabins and nicely furnished rooms can be rented at the campsite. The camping pitches are scattered throughout the campsite, but the most beautiful places are right by the sea. New power boxes have been installed and it is really nice to be right on the waterfront. The sanitary in the section on the sea side was completely renewed in the winter of 2018/2019 and looks great.
Central location between Alta and the North Cape
Olderfjord Turistsenter is located at 109km. distance from Alta and to the North Cape it is 128 km. Nice centrally located if you are en route to or from the North Cape and want to make a stopover. Very handy as there is a nice souvenir shop and a nice restaurant at the campsite. Olderfjord Turistsenter is located at the junction of the E6 (Karasjok) and the E69 (North Cape).
