Wonderfully quiet campsite by the fjord with well-kept sanitary facilities and a small beach. Lots of space at the campsite. Good cycling and walking opportunities in the area.
Guslandstranda Camping in Stavern in the Vestfold region:
Near the E18, but still in a wonderfully quiet location directly on the fjord. What a nice place. No numbered places at Guslandstranda Camping. Find a nice place for yourself! I'm sure it will work, because the campsite is spacious. From the end of June to the end of July it is a bit busier,but the staff is happy to help you. No accommodations are available at the campsite, but there is plenty of choice for campers with tents, caravans or motor homes. The sanitary facilities at the campsite look neat and there is a small playground for the kids.
At Guslandstranda Camping:
The camping pitches at Guslandstranda Camping are situated on grass. The campsite is right on the water and near the campsite is a small sandy beach. You can go swimming and of course fishing. Boats can be rented at the campsite if you want to go further on the water. At approx. 8km. from the campsite - in Helgeroa - you will find a number of shops, including a large supermarket and a restaurant.
Walking and cycling at Stavern:
The area around Stavern is very popular with cycling enthusiasts and hikers. For experienced hikers there is a 35km. long walking route along the coast, the Coast Path. Really super cool! And because the bus stop is in front of the campsite, you can easily complete the route in stages.
Ferry to and from Sandefjord, Larvik and Langesund:
There are a number of ferry destinations in the immediate vicinity of Guslandstranda Camping. In Sandefjord (30km.) you can take the Colorline to Stromstad in Sweden. In Larvik (14km.) The ferry (Colorline) departs and arrives from Hirtshals, Denmark. And with the Fjordline you also travel to and from Hirsthals (DK), but then to / from Langesund (43km. from the campsite).
Central location between Kristiansand and Oslo:
Guslandstranda Camping is approximately 15km. drive from the E18 which runs from Kristiansand (193km.) to Oslo (146km.). Ideal if you are on the way to one of both cities. But Guslandstranda Camping is also a great place to explore the beautiful nature of the Vestfold, Telemark and Buskerud regions.
